Confidential

Confidential Service

Rest assured that all assignment-related information is kept strictly confidential. Certified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, Certified members of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), interns and students of the profession adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct (formerly known as the Code of Ethics) sanctioned by the NAD and the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). Interpreters hold a position of trust in their role as linguistic and cultural facilitators of communication. For this reason, confidentiality is highly valued by consumers and is essential to protecting all people served from inception to completion of each assignment.

Ethical

Ethical Organization & Skilled Sign Language Interpreters

We conduct business following strong ethical principles by being honest, truthful, fair, and upholding moral character. We live by the motto, “Do the right thing, the first time, every time,” and we expect the same standards of excellence from skilled sign language interpreters who represent our agency at a local and national level.

Professional

Professional

ASL interpreters have a highly demanding career that involves negotiating demand control schema and managing complex integration and processing of two languages. Interpreters understand the unique demands and dynamics of this industry. As subject matter experts, they are educated in a variety of settings including medical (HIPAA regulations), legal, educational, mental health, government, performing arts, entertainment and many other industries where sensitive information may be exchanged. In addition, certified interpreters are required to pursue ongoing professional development. They must complete 8.0 Continuing Education Units per cycle in order to maintain certification requirements set forth by the RID.
