Formed in Florida with its main office in Tennessee, A-Team Interpreting, LLC® is a woman-owned and operated small business providing on-site nationwide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting and transliterating services for government, military, distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, legal, religious, corporate, political, educational, retail, finance, Human Resources, performing arts, entertainment, and other environments at federal, state and local levels.
We are a trusted and reliable industry leader whose founder and CEO has provided quality interpreting and transliterating services in the field for over 25 years. We believe in providing confidential, ethical and professional ASL interpreting services and utilize an array of experienced professionals with specialized skillsets who understand the unique communication and diverse cultural needs of the clients and consumers they serve.
Antoinette Harrell, Founder and CEO, of A-Team Interpreting, LLC® has a Master of Education in Special Education/ASL, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Public Relations, and holds two National Certifications: Certificate of Interpretation (CI) and Certificate of Transliteration (CT) from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). Ms. Harrell learned sign language from immersing herself in the Deaf community and working at a school for the deaf and blind at the start of her career. She has provided ASL interpreting and transliterating services since January of 1997 in a variety of settings. Some of her favorite venues include interpreting for famous performers and celebrities nationwide as well as government environments in Washington, D.C. As the wife of an Officer serving in the Marine Corps, Ms. Harrell has had the privilege and opportunity to serve this great nation all over the United States including Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland, California and many more. She brings the exemplary reputation she has earned from serving the Deaf, hard-of-hearing, Deaf-Blind, and Hearing communities into her agency A-Team Interpreting, LLC®.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be the agency of your choice when you need to request ASL interpreting or transliterating services for consumers. We want to be a recognized agency name demonstrating the epitome of professionalism and accessible communication for everyone who utilizes the services of an ASL interpreter. We strive to make a difference in the lives of people who use different languages to communicate by providing first-rate bilingual professionals. The value of clear and accurate communication between people who use two different native languages (ASL and English) is priceless. In general, people at their very core want to communicate effectively and to be understood. As the need for ASL interpreting services grows, A-Team Interpreting, LLC® will aim to complement the needs of people who strongly desire to communicate in a variety of settings. Our Mission
Our mission is to provide confidential, ethical, and professional ASL interpretation and transliteration services to D/deaf, hard-of-hearing, Deaf-Blind and Hearing consumers nationwide. Our team strives to educate people about interpreting services, language access, and industry standards. We believe that interpreters and transliterators facilitate communication for all individuals present at the interpreted interaction and/or event. We are committed to working with businesses, local communities, and other entities in order to coordinate and accommodate interpreting and transliterating services for those who use American Sign Language as a communication method to exchange information.
